aztig urban salon is a full-service salon. from our master stylist's $500 signature razor cut, to amazing facials, we have a little bit of everything and some things other salons don't: hair, makeup, spray tanning, fully licensed & insured staff, free wifi, internet cafe, mini library & free refreshments.
want to get your hair done but have an important email to get out or paper to submit online? no problem, we've got a computer for you. got a last minute invite to a party? we do airbrush makeup to make you flawless. want a facial in pure serenity? we do them in our spa, away from the hustle and bustle of the salon.
the bottom line: you are our guest, you are in our house, and we want to make sure you feel welcome.
oh, spray tanners, some things before you come in:
- shower & exfoliate
- shave where desired
- don't apply any lotions or oils
- don't apply face creams or makeup
- don't wear any jewelry
- wear loose, dark-colored clothing and sandals to your tanning session.
afterwards:
- you're gonna get a little darker; don't freak out, it's normal
- try to avoid activities which cause perspiration [sweating]
- avoid contact with suede, wool, nylon and silk fabrics the day of your session
- avoid sitting on light-colored furniture the day of your session
- don't shower, swim, or get wet for at least eight hours after tanning
- don't be alarmed if you see some color washing off in the shower, it's excess bronzer, and is expected to happen.
finally, spray tanning doesn't contain any sunscreen. if you plan on spending time in the sun [actually, whenever you do] you should wear sunscreen. |
