Shiela Gomez

Master Stylist & Artistic Director

Shiela Ocampo Gomez discovered her passion for hair styling when she was just 17 where she eagerly sought a position within the prestigious traditional European David's Salon in the Philippines. She learned the ropes from the ground up, including the intricate details and subtle nuances of European hairstyling combined with Asian techniques.

Philippines Cosmopolitan magazine featured Shiela and she soon landed a TV spot on the popular TV show Good Finds.

In 2005, Azta Urban Salon eagerly snapped up Shiela where she rapidly became one of their top-grossing Senior Stylist and Senior Technical Educator.

Upon emigrating to the United States, she set her sights on being a Master Stylist in Weston, Florida. She soon began collaborating as a texture specialist for several large hair product distribution companies in South Florida.

It wasn’t long before she opened her own salon in 2009 and named it aztig urban salon, inspired by her time at Azta.

She served as the national educator at De Fabulous for Japanese and Keratin Straightening treatments, travelled to New York City, Chicago, Orlando, Los Angeles, and Dallas to showcase her Razorality hair cutting technique. Shiela was also invited by Oprah Winfrey’s hair stylist of 25 years -Andre Walker- to promote his products in Australia as their international sales-spokesperson.

With 11 years of experience and a US-Licensed cosmetologist, Shiela's mission is to share different techniques and spread knowledge where breaking the norm and pioneering new trends is essential for today's Hair Artists.

Christopher Gomez

Additionally, the time and situation management skills he learned as a Senior Command Post Controller in exotic and difficult work environments such as Kuwait, Philippines, and Alaska provide Christopher with unsurpassed skills in situational awareness critical to providing unfettered attention to guests.

With a yearning to succeed, Christopher moved on into the world of business after Honorable Discharge from the US Military with Auto Leather Inc., where within two years he became partner and Vice President and single-handedly launched their retail website segment.
